Food Fest Among the HORP Family
You probably wonder why we have so many potlucks. While the most obvious reason would be ‘we love to eat’, I would argue that that isn’t the most important reason. I love doing potlucks because it allows us to connect and build stronger relationships with each other. When we share food, we share stories and we create memories. This one was quite special. We said goodbye to Heba, a Fulbright scholar, who earned her MS degree from us. She will continue her journey in Canada. Good luck and best wishes Heba Aref; you make us proud. We also said goodbye to Ashley Mims, our undergraduate student worker. She will do an internship in Birmingham. Break a leg; Ashley!
