Teaching the U.S. Healthcare system to Thai students
On June 2 and 3, the four Thai students had a crash course in the U.S. health care system. Our doctoral student, Ruth Jeminiwa, has done a great job teaching them an overview of the U.S. health care system including Modes of payment, public and private health systems and pharmacy benefit managers.

Then, the students made a presentation about an overview of the Thai health care system and the comparisons between the U.S. and Thai systems in terms of access to care and cost. The presentation was great; we all enjoyed learning about the different system.
